Community Forum Well Attended

On Sunday April 24, the Green Team of the First Presbyterian Church, Marshfield and 80 Feet is Enough! sponsored a Community Forum to raise awareness about Enbridge Pipeline Expansion.
Information about the speakers and links to their presentations :
- Mark Borchardt, a property owner from the Town of Lincoln. Enbridge's has an easement on his property. The pipeline pumps 2.1 Million barrels of oil/day under his driveway. Borchardt discussed property issues and pipeline safety.
- Elizabeth Ward, of the Sierra Club's John Muir Chapter. She explained the environmental concerns of Enbridge's pipelines. You may download her powerpoint by clicking here.
- Faith Fitzpatrick, of the United States Geological Survey's Wisconsin Water Science Center, talked about Enbridg'se oil spill in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Here is a link to her slideshow.

Enbridge was invited and chose not to participate.
